This is a conference for dancers, singers, musicians, worship leaders and all worshipers!
FROM THE DIRECTOR……
TWELVE - a well known number. 12 tribes, 12 apostles, 12 loaves, 12 gems, 12 foundations, gates, pearls and angels in the New Jerusalem and 12 months reflecting a complete cycle. Twelve is recognized as the number of perfect or divine government, organization, completion and totality. It is also in the 12th chapter of Genesis that Abraham was called out of his homeland to follow God into a new beginning and purpose. As we approach this, our 12th year of Worship Dance Conferences, we, too, believe we have completed one cycle and are being called to follow God into a new season.
- Building upon the foundations of the past – we commit to grow, mature and press on into the future
- Beholding Him in worship - we are being changed from glory to glory
- Being changed - we are Becoming the fulfillment of His dreams, purposes and destiny for our lives
Did you know that the words build and become both mean to change or develop into by growth, to cause to be or grow, to increase. Notice the word growth. Growth is non-negotiable with God. He is a God of growth and He expects it from us. All we have to do is to begin. (Ever notice that begin and being have the same letters?) Take that step, say yes, and watch what happens. He brings the increase but we need to begin. So we are building and becoming....
In another sense we are building on 6000 years of revelation and preparing for an endless eternity of worship and service. Dance Camp is one week each summer where we ask and allow God to individually and corporately, technically and spiritually, equip, train and form us into His vessels, His desires and His purposes. Designed for all levels, our conference offers technical training and biblical teaching during the day and prophetic worship sessions in the evenings. We are blessed with a faculty of mature worship arts leaders who reflect the diversity of movement arts and dance ministry in use today. Unconditionally, they share a passionate love for God and the skilled anointing to teach and express their gifts. In this new season we are also introducing a New Curriculum available to those who desire continued growth through a systematic program of teaching, training and equipping in the area of Dance Ministry. Levels of study and accomplishment will range from a Certificate of Completion to a more Advanced Degree for the biblically and skillfully trained worship artist.
So whether it’s your 1st time to come to dance camp, your 12th, or somewhere in between, let’s begin this new season together as we cause to come into being what He has in store for us.
Finally, at the heart of worship dance is, of course, worship. Do you not sense that the Lord desires to restore and deeper our passion in worshiping Him? My prayer is that we will passionately come to learn, be equipped, be restored, and give our all to worship Him - for He is worthy, and that is why we were created.
